On board the type 81 general purpose frigate HMS Ashanti (1959) alongside the fitting out berth at the Yarrow & Co Ltd shipyard at Scotstoun, Glasgow. The photographer is in the passageway between 64 and 67 stations on the port side of 2 deck looking aft and to starboard from 64½ station showing stairs leading up to 1 deck and under the stairs are two drums of foam liquid and a transformer. A change over switch and connection box and two starter panels are against the bulkhead. The door to the P.Os' bathroom and cleansing station is in the starboard bulkhead and the watertight door at 67 station is open. A vertical format negative.
