On board the type 81 general purpose frigate HMS Ashanti (1959) alongside North Corner Jetty in Portsmouth Dockyard during her September 1968 to April 1970 refit. The photographer is in the enclosed bridge between 40½ and 43½ stations on 01 deck looking to port and slightly aft from the starboard side showing a drawer and cupboard unit on the left with a clock reading 10.13 above it. Steps lead down to the cabin lobby and a noticeboard and bookshelf are above the steps. The port bridge wing door is closed. A vertical format negative.
