On board the type 81 general purpose frigate HMS Ashanti (1959) alongside North Corner Jetty in Portsmouth Dockyard during her September 1968 to April 1970 refit. The photographer is in the regulating office between 66 and 67 stations on the starboard side of 2 deck looking to port showing the bunk on the left . A double pedestal desk with notice board, telephone and bookshelf above is against the forward bulkhead and a covered wash hand basin with toiletries cabinet above is alongside the desk. A November 1969 calendar is above the telephone. A clock against the port bulkhead is reading 2.58. A vertical format negative.
