The photographer is in the crew's 2H mess between 56 and 58½ stations on the starboard side of 2 deck looking aft and to starboard on the port side showing a triple tier bunk unit on the left. Two tubular steel chairs are in the foreground and two kit lockers are against the port bulkhead. Two kit lockers, three suitcase racks and a double tier bunk unit are against the aft bulkhead.
