On board the type 81 general purpose frigate HMS Ashanti (1959) alongside North Corner Jetty in Portsmouth Dockyard during her September 1968 to April 1970 refit. The photographer is in the transmitting station annexe between 45 and 50 stations on the port side of 3 deck looking forward and to port from the starboard side at 48 station showing the gyro air supply unit with the cover removed, a 6KW rectifier, a key cabinet and bookshelves. Wooden boxes are on the deck. A vertical format negative.
