The photographer is in the sonar control room between 41 and 43 stations on the starboard side of 1 deck looking forward and to starboard showing the bearing console, the centre generator console and the range console against the ship's side. The raised chair of the senior man is on the left. Against the forward bulkhead are two sonar type 1070B circuit units, a fuse box, a starter panel, a telephone handset, headsets and a main broadcast loudspeaker. A vertical format negative.
