The photographer is in the sonar instrument room between 16 and 27½ stations on 3 deck looking forward and to starboard from the port side at 23 station showing the hatch over the hull outfit 15 (sonar type 170B) in the foreground and on the hatch is a container marked 'Case for generator signal CT 344'. A workbench with drawers and cupboards under and a telephone and cupboard above and cabinets SC No. 1 and SC No. 2 are against the forward bulkhead.
