A very distant port bow view, taken from fine off the bow, of the Leyland Red Star Line cruise ship Lapland (1909) at anchor in the Isfjorden off Andalsnes, Norway. Her starboard anchor is deployed and she has bunting hoisted at each of her four masts. An accommodation ladder is rigged at the shell doors forward and one of her aft lifeboats is missing from its falls. The photographer is on shore showing the ship's boat No 11 lying alongside a landing stage with passengers embarked. A few local people are on the landing stage. A vertical format negative.
