A starboard side view, taken from well ahead of the beam, of the Leyland Red Star Line cruise ship Lapland (1909) at anchor in Norwegian waters. Her port anchor is deployed and she has bunting hoisted at each of her four masts. The courtesy flag of Norway is at the head of the foremast. Lifeboat 17 is missing from its falls. The photographer is in a boat off the bow of the ship and one of the boat's crew is in the right foreground. The horizon is not level. Negative number P83927 was taken on the same occasion.
