A Suez Canal navigation light is rigged at the stem. Her decks are thronged with troops being transported south through the Suez Canal for the Italo-Abyssinian War. She has an accommodation ladder rigged amidships and a number of small local craft are in the vicinity. She is flying the courtesy flag of the Kingdom of Egypt at the head of her foremast.
