The photographer is in the operations room between 41½ and 45½ stations on 1 deck looking forward and slightly to port from 44½ station showing the J.W. display G.A.P. and Powquip teleprinter in the right foreground. The J.W. display G.A.P. has a stateboard above it. Under the deckhead are a number of communications units. The gunnery officer's target indicator unit mark 5 console is in the port forward corner. A vertical format negative.
