The photographer is standing on the starboard side of 01 deck abreast the enclosed bridge looking forward showing the canvas covered 20 mm oerlikon gun at the forward end of 01 deck with the 4.5 inch gun mount and the forecastle beyond. An unidentified Leander class frigate is berthed ahead against the South West Wall and beyond are the fleet tug Reward (1944) with her sister Cyclone (1942) berthed outboard of her.
