The photographer is on the port side of 02 deck at 50 station looking aft showing the base of the mainmast on the left. The forefunnel has a black half leader band on it. The canvas covered GWS 21 Seacat missile launcher is on the right and a whip aerial for the type 640 radio is abaft it, above the 25 feet motor cutter in its davits. The GWS 21 Seacat missile blind fire director is abaft the cutter. The ship is berthed starboard side to the jetty. The bow of the aircraft carrier Hermes (1953) is in the background.
