The photographer is looking forward and slightly to starboard from the flight deck at 73 station on the centreline of 01 deck showing the Limbo mortar well, The GWS 21 Seacat missile close range blind fire directors, the funnels and the mainmast. On the forefunnel is the number 5, showing her allocation to the 5th Frigate Squadron. The AKE1 aerial for the type 965 radar is at the top of the mainmast. The ship is berthed starboard side to the jetty. In the background to the right of the funnel are the masts of the frigate Chichester (1955). The presence of this vessel means this negative must have been taken after mid-July 1972. A vertical format negative.
