The photographer is in the junior rates' dining hall between 50 and 56 stations on 2 deck looking forward and to starboard from the port aft corner showing tables and benches set athwartships on the port side and set fore and aft on the starboard side. The servery roller shutter is just inside the central passageway and the tea making position is just beyond the curtain on the centreline.
