The photographer is in the asdic control room between 41 and 42¾ stations on the starboard side of 1 deck looking aft and to starboard showing the senior operator's chair on a dais on the left with the range console, the depth console and a spares cabinet against the ship's side. A resistor box, a main starter, a fire extinguisher, the sliding door to the operations room and consoles R, S and T are against the aft bulkhead.
