The photographer is in the operations room between 41½ and 45½ stations on 1 deck looking forward on the starboard side showing the door to the asdic control room with a fire extinguisher alongside it. On the left is a desk equipped with a morse key and a telephone exchange unit. The perspex fleet state board is hanging against the forward bulkhead and the signal filing board is to the right of the desk. On the right is a desk equipped with four telephone handsets and with a visual display unit and radar circuit control units by the side.
