On board the type 81 general purpose frigate HMS Nubian (1960) alongside the South Arm in Rosyth Dockyard prior to 25 March 1973. The photographer is in an unidentified mess showing kit lockers with a mirror attached in the left foreground. Beyond a curtain are a settee bench with lockers under it and a cupboard above in the corner. A folding table is on the settee and a tubular steel chair is on the deck. There are no signs of occupation.
