On board the type 81 general purpose frigate HMS Nubian (1960) alongside the South Arm in Rosyth Dockyard prior to 25 March 1973. The photographer is in an unidentified mess showing kit lockers and triple tier bunk units The only signs of occupation are a box of Daz soap powder on a bunk, a mug on a locker against the end bulkhead and an empty coat hanger hanging from the deckhead. This is possibly the crew's mess between 78 and 85 stations on 2 deck.
