On board the type 81 general purpose frigate HMS Nubian (1960) alongside the South Arm in Rosyth Dockyard prior to 25 March 1973. The photographer is in an unidentified mess showing kit lockers and triple tier bunk units. A fuse panel and a hinged shelf are against the end bulkhead. The only sign of occupation is a towel hanging on a kit locker. This is possibly the crew's mess between 78 and 85 stations on 2 deck.
