On board the type 81 general purpose frigate HMS Nubian (1960) alongside the South Arm in Rosyth Dockyard prior to 25 March 1973. The photographer is in an unidentified mess showing two triple tier bunk units on the right. A folding table is stowed against a locker on the left and it has two mirrors above it. In the corner is a settee bench with lockers under and a Thermotank air conditioning unit, a loudspeaker, an automatic emergency lantern and a clock reading 09.21 are against the bulkhead. There are no signs of occupation.
