The photographer is in the junior ratings dining hall between 50 and 56 stations on 2 deck looking to starboard and aft from the port side at 51 station showing the tables and benches on the port side set athwartships. On the starboard side is the tea making facility and a table set fore and aft laden with Sunblest sliced bread, bottles of tomato ketchup, salt and pepper shakers, plates, table mats and trays. Cupboards and the scullery are on the starboard side beyond the table. In the background is the midship fan chamber and against the chamber are two starter panels, a fire hose basket, a cold drinks dispenser, a cool drinking water dispenser, an automatic emergency lantern and cable hangers.
