The photographer is in the junior rates 2E mess between 41 and 42½ stations on the starboard side of 2 deck looking to starboard and slightly aft showing two triple tier bunk units and three kit lockers against the aft bulkhead. A triple tier bunk unit is against the ship's side and kit lockers are on the left. A bucket with deck squeegees and a mop are in the starboard aft corner.
