On board the type 81 general purpose frigate HMS Nubian (1960) alongside the South Arm in Rosyth Dockyard prior to 25 March 1973. The photographer is in the No. 4 amplifier compartment between 44 and 45 stations on the starboard side of 2 deck looking to starboard and aft showing a surface plotting services cabinet, a visual display unit with a power unit below it and a radar and radio distribution unit against the aft bulkhead. Against the ship's side is a workbench with frame servicing boxes under it. Against the forward bulkhead are three A.S. plotting circuits power supply units.
