On board the type 81 general purpose frigate HMS Nubian (1960) alongside the South Arm in Rosyth Dockyard prior to 25 March 1973. The photographer is in the sick bay between 42½ and 44 stations on the starboard side of 2 deck looking to starboard and slightly forward showing equipment, medical and poisons cupboards against the forward bulkhead. The operating table is in the centre of the room and the sick bay bathroom is on the starboard side with a clock reading 09.56 above it. The doctor's desk is on the right.
