On board the type 81 general purpose frigate HMS Nubian (1960) alongside the South Arm in Rosyth Dockyard prior to 25 March 1973. The photographer is in the sick bay between 42½ and 44 stations on the starboard side of 2 deck looking to port and forward showing equipment and poisons cupboards and a Lec refrigerator are against the forward bulkhead. A portable radio is on top of the equipment cupboard. Two swinging cots are near the port bulkhead and the operating table is in the centre of the room.
