On board the type 81 general purpose frigate HMS Nubian (1960) alongside the South Arm in Rosyth Dockyard prior to 25 March 1973. The photographer is in the electronics maintenance room between 34 and 38½ stations on the port side of 2 deck looking to port and forward from the doorway showing the work bench against the ship's side. The bench is equipped with a vice and above it are switch sockets, bookshelves, an amplifier test plug board, fuse panels and high level cupboards. Against the forward bulkhead are a board holding various cables and connectors and more high level cupboards.
