On board the type 81 general purpose frigate HMS Nubian (1960) alongside the South Arm in Rosyth Dockyard prior to 25 March 1973. The photographer is in the electronics maintenance room between 34 and 38½ stations on the port side of 2 deck looking aft showing the work bench against the ship's side. Above the bench are an amplifier test plug board, test supply box and high level cupboards. Four Aish & Co Ltd suppressor boxes, a key cabinet, an overhead lights dimmer unit, a chest of drawers and a notice board are against the aft bulkhead. On the notice board is a schematic plan of the 02 deck showing the positions of the various whip and radio communication aerials.
