On board the type 81 general purpose frigate HMS Nubian (1960) alongside the South Arm in Rosyth Dockyard prior to 25 March 1973. The photographer is in the electronics maintenance room between 34 and 38½ stations on the port side of 2 deck looking forward showing the work bench against the ship's side. The bench is equipped with a vice and above the bench are switch sockets, bookshelves and high level cupboards. A board fitted with various cables and connectors is at the end of the bench. Two fuse panels, a junction box, a loudspeaker and high level cupboards are against the forward bulkhead. In the starboard corner is a J.W. test rack with a bookshelf and cupboard above and two in number two drawer filing cabinets are alongside it.
