The photographer is in the communications control room (receiving) between 41 and 43 stations on the port side of 3 deck. The photographer is looking to port from the starboard side at the forward end of the compartment showing a cupboard with fuse panels above it and an RX stateboard is on one of the fuse panels. In the centre is a large ventilation trunking marked 3E 14 with lagged pipework against the ship's side. Receiver units are on the right.
