On board the type 81 general purpose frigate HMS Nubian (1960) alongside the South Arm in Rosyth Dockyard prior to 25 March 1973. The photographer is in the crew's galley between 45 and 50 stations on the starboard side of 2 deck looking to port and slightly aft from 48½ station on the starboard side showing a stainless steel dresser with sweet stowage shelves under. Against the aft bulkhead are an hot cupboard, an automatic emergency lantern, a serving hatch and the roasting oven control panel. The bain marie and the closed roller shutter of the servery is on the port side. An hot cupboard, the deep fryer and the shallow fryer are on the right.
