On board the type 81 general purpose frigate HMS Nubian (1960) alongside the South Arm in Rosyth Dockyard prior to 25 March 1973. The photographer is in the crew's galley between 45 and 50 stations on the starboard side of 2 deck looking to starboard and slightly forward from 49½ station on the port side showing a stainless steel dresser with sweet stowage shelves under in the foreground. Against the ship's side are a sin unit and work top with an Hobart gravity meat slicing machine on the end and with shelves above. A fire extinguisher, two squeegee mops, a broom, an automatic emergency lantern, a large ladel and a rack of cook's knives are in the corner. On the left are the deep fryer and the shallow fryer with a stainless steel dresser at the end which has two large bowls and trays of eggs on it.
