The photographer is in the command shelter lobby between 46 and 47 stations on the centreline of 3 deck looking to starboard from the port side showing stairs leading up to 2 deck and an open hatch leading down to 4 deck. Beyond the hatch are a desk with a control unit and two loudspeaker units on the adjacent bulkhead. On the starboard side is the sliding door to the electrical workshop.
