On board the type 81 general purpose frigate HMS Nubian (1960) alongside the South Arm in Rosyth Dockyard prior to 25 March 1973. The photographer is in the electrical workshop between 46 and 47¼ stations on the starboard side of 3 deck looking to starboard and slightly forward showing the work bench equipped with two vices and with drawers and pigeon hole storage racks under it. Against the forward bulkhead are a fuse testing unit, switch sockets, sliding door cupboards, a bookshelf and a loudspeaker. A fan motor is on a cupboard on the right.
