On board the type 81 general purpose frigate HMS Nubian (1960) alongside the South Arm in Rosyth Dockyard prior to 25 March 1973. The photographer is in the transmitting station annexe between 45 and 50 stations on the port side of 3 deck looking aft and to port from 48½ station showing the maintenance console on the left with manuals on a shelf above it. A ventilation unit is on the right and next to it is a table with books and rolls of working drawings on it. A dial telephone is next to a wood bench against the ship's side and above the bench is a scrambler inserts unit and a rectangular bucket.
