On board the type 81 general purpose frigate HMS Nubian (1960) alongside the South Arm in Rosyth Dockyard prior to 25 March 1973. The photographer is in the conversion machinery room between 45 and 48 stations on the starboard side of 4 deck looking to starboard from the centreline at 47 station showing the pitometer log controller, the pitometer log, a motor generator and a cupboard on the left. Against the aft bulkhead are a transformer, an automatic change over switch, a transformer, a starter and two axial flow fans under ventilation trunking. A 25 KW rectifier and a small locker are against the ship's side.
