The photographer is in the conversion machinery room between 45 and 48 stations on the starboard side of 4 deck looking aft and to port from 45½ station showing the pitometer log, a choke unit and a voltage regulator against the port bulkhead. On the deck are an amplidyne on the left with a cupboard beyond it, a large motor generator in the centre and a small motor generator on the right with another large motor generator in the right foreground. Against the aft bulkhead are a starter and fuse panels.
