On board the type 81 general purpose frigate HMS Nubian (1960) alongside the South Arm in Rosyth Dockyard prior to 25 March 1973. The photographer is in the C.P.Os and P.Os dining hall between 50 and 54¾ on the starboard side of 2 deck looking forward and to port showing three tables set athwartships with tubular steel chairs on either side of each table. The tables are laid complete with brown, tomato and worcester sauces, vinegar, salt, pepper and mustard and a tray holding a loaf of Sunblest sliced bread. Against the port bulkhead are a tea making cupboard and hot water urn, a refrigerator, a starter panel and a cold sweet cabinet. Against the forward bulkhead is a clock reading 10.02.
