The photographer is in the petty officer's mess between 69½ and 72 stations on the port side of 2 deck looking aft and slightly to starboard from the doorway showing six kit lockers against the starboard bulkhead and P.O. Cook Muir has the upper locker nearest the door. A full height locker unit and a mirror are against the aft bulkhead. A triple tier bunk unit and another full height locker unit are against the ship's side.
