On board the type 81 general purpose frigate HMS Nubian (1960) alongside the South Arm in Rosyth Dockyard prior to 25 March 1973. The photographer is in the chief petty officer's mess between 67 and 73 stations on the starboard side of 2 deck looking to port from 67½ station on the starboard side showing a triple tier bunk unit against the forward bulkhead. Two small lockers, an electric iron and stowage for an ironing board are against the port bulkhead.
