On board the type 81 general purpose frigate HMS Nubian (1960) alongside the South Arm in Rosyth Dockyard prior to 25 March 1973. The photographer is in the ship's office between 54½ and 56 stations on the starboard side of 1 deck looking to starboard and aft showing a desk top on two in number two drawer cabinets. A range of cupboards, shelves and document racks are above the desk and an Imperial 70 typewriter is on the desk. A National Savings calendar for 1973 is taped to a cupboard door. One of the manuals in the racks is BR1950 Naval Pay Regulations.
