On board the type 81 general purpose frigate HMS Nubian (1960) alongside the South Arm in Rosyth Dockyard prior to 25 March 1973. The photographer is in an unidentified 2-berth cabin, probably on 01 or 1 deck. The cabin is fitted with a double fixed bunk unit with drawers under the lower bunk. A bookshelf and a combination locked cabinet are on the right and a chest of drawers with a secretaire is on the left. A shelf is above the chest of drawers and an armchair is in the centre. The cabin is almost certainly inboard with no scuttle.
