The photographer is in the operations room between 42 and 45½ stations on 1 deck looking to starboard and slightly forward from 44 station on the port side showing the Admiralty Research Laboratory surface plotting table and a visual display unit in the right foreground and a stateboard in the left foreground. Against the screen to the side of the C.O's. chair are the sonar type 162 control unit, the sonar type 170 repeater (attacker) unit, the sonar type 177 bearing unit and the Limbo mortar firing control box. In the starboard forward corner are an interphone connection box and a loudspeaker control unit against the ship's side with a communications desk, a gun range unit, an MRS 3 range unit, a stateboard, a loudspeaker, a visual display unit, a radar selector box and a general information stateboard against the forward bulkhead.
