The photographer is in the operations room between 42 and 45½ stations on 1 deck looking to starboard and slightly aft from 44 station on the port side showing the Admiralty Research Laboratory surface plotting table, a visual display unit and the Admiralty Research Laboratory A.S. plotting circuits plotting table No. 1. Against the screen are the sonar type 177 bearing unit and a telephone handset. In the starboard aft corner against the ship's side are a junction box, a bookshelf and the watchkeeper's board.
