The photographer is in the enclosed bridge between 40½ and 43½ stations on 01 deck looking to starboard and slightly aft from the centreline showing the captain's high chair on the left with the communications desks against the forward screen. The bridge wing door is closed and against the aft bulkhead are a control panel, coat hooks, radiotelephone frequencies and channels board, a desk with a cupboard under, a telephone handset, a microphone, a loudspeaker, an alarm bell and the fleet disposition board. In the right foreground are the chart table and Decca Navigator.
