In the foreground is the wooden cover over the bollard winch and a telephone handset. Above the arched openings is the support for the MRS 3 director. Beyond the archway is a stretcher cupboard and above the open hatch leading down to 1 deck are three light dimmer units and an automatic emergency lantern. The flight of four steps lead up to the enclosed bridge.
