The photographer is in the bridge lobby between 43½ and 48½ stations on the centreline of 01 deck looking aft and slightly to port from 47 station. In the foreground is the wooden cover over the bollard winch and against the bulkhead at 48 station are a fuse panel and an automatic emergency lantern. In the right foreground is the door to the crew W.C. with a fuse panel next to it. The sliding door to the MRS 3 maintenance compartment and 978 office is on the right and the watertight door in 48½ bulkhead is open.
