On board the type 81 general purpose frigate HMS Nubian (1960) alongside the South Arm in Rosyth Dockyard prior to 25 March 1973. The photographer is in the shipwright's workshop between 48 and 50 stations on the starboard side of 01 deck looking to port and slightly aft from the door showing a workbench with drawers under against the aft bulkhead. The bench is equipped with a carpenter's vice and has storage racks and cabinet above it. More storage racks and two cupboards are against the port bulkhead. A Royal Marines Detachment notice, a mallet, a hammer and a hand drill are on the bench.
