The photographer is In the air lookout and gun direction officer's position between 43½ and 45 stations on 02 deck looking forward and down from the starboard side showing the forward air lookout position covered with canvas on the right and the gun direction officer's canvas covered sight on the left. Two telephone handsets, a microphone, two loudspeakers, a rudder indicator, a sight selection switch box and a selector switch unit are against the forward screeen. The barrel of the forward 4.5 gun is pointing skywards.
