On board the type 81 general purpose frigate HMS Nubian (1960) alongside the South Arm in Rosyth Dockyard prior to 25 March 1973. The photographer is in the store accountant's office between 56 and 57½ stations on the port side of 2 deck looking forward and to starboard showing a desk with a backboard on the left. Against the forward bulkhead are a clock reading 3.03 and a key cabinet. Against the starboard bulkhead are cupboards, a combination safe, bookshelves and a number of volumes of the Catalogue of Naval Stores.
